Kapton Tape

Description

Kapton tape is a heat resistant electrical insulating tape that is very handy for insulating various surfaces within locomotives.

• Insulate one side of a locomotive mechanism from another
• Insulate an area inside a locomotive for a decoder to sit in
• Tape down wires inside a locomotive used for a decoder
• *Wrap around a CT Elektronik decoder to protect from surroundings

*Note: CT Elektronik advises against doing this however I haven’t had issues with decoders that have been wrapped
