Next18 Female Breakout Board – ESU 51999

Description

The Next18 female breakout board (ESU 51999) provides a handy way to access all outputs of Next18 decoders for hardwire applications.

Next18 decoders typically feature 6 amplified outputs. Use of the breakout board will allow access to all of these functions. This may be helpful for locomotives not equipped with a Next18 socket.

Note: this product is designed for DC locomotives, it is not designed for locomotives already fitted with a Next18 socket.

Solder pads provided on the rear of the board include:

• Left & right rail
• Motor + & –
• Front & rear light
• Function outputs 1 to 4 (outputs 3 & 4 are amplified thanks to an in-built amplifier on the board)
• 2 speaker outputs
• Common positive and ground

Note all solder pads except for the 2x speaker outputs, ground and outputs 3 & 4 are pre-wired.
